1. Who we are

Work Juice Ltd (“Work Juice”, “we”, “us”) is a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 17469020. Our registered office is Longbrook House, New North Road, Exeter, EX4 4GL.

We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us about anything here at hello@workjuice.co.uk. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under registration number 00015610600.

2. What we collect

When you visit our website

• Technical data our host, Cloudflare, records to serve and protect the site: your IP address, browser type and the pages you request.
• Our website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
• The marketing website sets no advertising or analytics cookies.

Cookies

• We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies anywhere.
• Work Juice AI uses strictly necessary cookies from our sign-in provider, Clerk, to keep you signed in securely. When you pay, Stripe sets its own essential cookies on its checkout pages to prevent fraud.
• Because these cookies are needed for the service to work, we don’t ask for consent to them. You can block them in your browser, but you won’t then be able to sign in or pay.

When you chat with Juice

• Juice, the assistant on our website, is an AI. What you type or say to it, and its replies, are processed by our voice and chat provider, ElevenLabs, which keeps a transcript and, for voice calls, a recording of the conversation.
• A voice call only uses your microphone after you press “Talk to Juice” and allow it in your browser. Typed chats never use your microphone.
• Juice’s software is loaded from jsDelivr, a content delivery network, when you first open a chat, so jsDelivr receives your IP address.
• Please don’t share sensitive personal data with Juice. We use these conversations to answer your questions and to improve the service.

When you contact us

• What you send us, for example by email or through the booking form: your name, email address, business name, what you need and anything else you choose to tell us.
• The booking form doesn’t store anything on our website. It opens an email in your own email app, which you then send to us.

When you become a client

• Account details: your name, email address and sign-in details, handled through our sign-in provider, Clerk.
• Billing details: your billing name, address and payment history. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• Your brand and project material: your Brand Kit, briefs, uploaded files, the prompts you write in Work Juice AI and the results it produces.
• Usage records: the credits and design hours you use, the requests you send to the studio and the files we deliver.
• Correspondence: the emails and messages we exchange.

Please don’t put sensitive personal data (for example health information) or other people’s personal data into briefs or Work Juice AI unless you have to, and only if you have the right to share it.

3. How we use it, and our lawful basis

We don’t sell your data, and we don’t make decisions about you by automated means that have legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Work Juice AI

Work Juice AI is our own interface built on Anthropic’s Claude models. When you run a Studio, your brief and relevant parts of your Brand Kit are sent to Anthropic’s API to generate the result, which is then stored in your account. Anthropic processes that content on our behalf under its commercial terms, which don’t allow it to use the content to train its models. Every result is produced by AI and is labelled as such in the portal.

5. Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run Work Juice. They process data only on our instructions and must keep it secure.

We may also share data with our professional advisers (such as our accountant), with a buyer if the business is ever sold, or where the law requires us to.

6. International transfers

Some of these providers process data outside the UK, mainly in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by a recognised safeguard, such as the UK–US data bridge or the ICO’s International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.

7. How long we keep it

• Enquiries that don’t lead to work: up to 12 months.
• Juice conversations (transcripts and voice recordings): up to 90 days, then deleted.
• Client accounts, Brand Kits and files: while your account is open, then 90 days after it closes, so you can download everything. Then they are deleted.
• Invoices and accounting records: 6 years, as HMRC requires.
• Marketing consent: until you unsubscribe.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, correct it, have it erased, restrict or object to how we use it, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email hello@workjuice.co.uk. We’ll reply within one month.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

9. Keeping it secure

Data travels over encrypted connections. Client accounts sit behind a dedicated sign-in service, and access to client data is limited to the people who need it to do the work. Content generated by Work Juice AI is shown in a sandboxed frame.

10. Children

Our services are for businesses. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

We’ll update this page if anything changes, and tell clients by email about any significant change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
